That will create a single building and M&E services company, Incentive says, in a move designed to improve the customer experience through added convenience.
The integration will enable Incentive Tec to offer its clients a comprehensive range of technical, building maintenance and project management services through a single point of contact, including a range of specialist fire and security services that incorporates access control, fire systems installation and maintenance. The enlarged company will retain more than 170 multi-disciplined engineers providing mobile, resident and project services throughout the UK, operating from four regional offices: Kings Langley, Derby, Weston-super-Mare and Basildon.
Incentive FM Group chairman Jeremy Waud said:
“The growth of Incentive Tec under the leadership of Chris Windass and now with the integration of the WES Group means that our customers will benefit from a broader range of services, supported by a large national mobile engineering team, all from a single point of contact. As with our other FM service offerings, Incentive Tec will provide an interesting alternative for potential M&E clients and property managers to some of our bigger and less responsive competitors in the market.”
Incentive FM Group, has launched a new, specialist company which will operate as a subsidiary of Incentive Tec, its building services business. Incentive Tec – Fire & Security Systems Ltd will deliver cost effective and bespoke design, installation and maintenance of life safety systems, focussing on compliance and regulatory requirements for both existing and new customers.
Solutions will include fire and intruder detection and alarms, emergency lighting, access control, CCTV and sprinklers and will be available as a standalone solution or as part of a broader M&E service. The division will also work closely with the company’s manned guarding business Incentive Lynx and their clientbase.
The fire and security systems staff joined the group along with the company’s acquisition of Weston Electrical Services (WES Group) last year which significantly increased the geographical reach, scale and range of its Incentive Tec business, bringing the total number of multi-skilled mobile engineers the Group now operates to over 140 nationwide, with a further 80 site based technicians. Supporting the relaunch of this business, Incentive Tec will provide training and development opportunities for its existing service teams whilst also looking to strengthen its workforce throughout a number regions of the country.
Jeremy Waud, Chairman at Incentive FM Group, said:
Fire and security technical systems has been a missing link in our service offering and it has been on our shopping list for some time. We were delighted that the Western Electrical acquisition came with a small business under the leadership of Linda Rogers and Richard Parkinson that was already engaged in just this area. This has allowed us to rebrand, invest in and expand the service around the country.
Chris Windass, Managing Director at Incentive Tec, said:
At Incentive Tec we pride ourselves on our ability to engage with clients, understanding their needs and providing a bespoke solution. As a result, we are continually looking to expand the scope of our directly delivered services and are committed to helping our customers keep their people, buildings and assets safe, secure and efficient.
NEW STRATEGIC ACQUISITION BOOSTS SCALE, REACH AND SERVICES FOR INCENTIVE FM GROUP
Incentive FM Group, the leading independent facilities services company, has acquired a third M&E business in a move that will increase the geographical reach, scale and range of its Incentive Tec business. Weston Electrical Services (WES Group) will work as part of the existing Incentive Tec team, bringing the total number of multi skilled mobile engineers the Group now operates to over 140 nationwide with a further 80 site based technicians, and a turnover in excess of £30m from its M&E business. In addition, WES Group also provides a range of specialist fire and security services, including access control and fire systems installation and maintenance, which will be added to the Group’s portfolio of services.
WES Group has a turnover in excess of £10 million and a strong customer base in the retail and prestigious buildings sectors, working with companies such as Travis Perkins, Dunelm, Argos, Lidl and Homebase. It specialises in all aspects of electrical and mechanical contracting and maintenance. This will complement Incentive Tec’s fully comprehensive range of bespoke building, maintenance and project management services.
WES Group founder John Rogers will be retiring after 32 years, however fellow Directors Ian and Linda Rogers will continue to lead the business and will remain along with all existing staff. The company will continue to operate under its own brand name, reporting into Chris Windass, Managing Director at Incentive Tec. The offices in Weston Super Mare will also be retained as the Incentive Group’s new South West base.
Jeremy Waud, Chairman at Incentive FM Group, said:
“The skills and expertise that the team at WES Group brings will complement and strengthen those within Incentive Tec, enabling us to deliver further technical capability, over a greater geographical footprint, with a larger engineering workforce, to both existing and new customers. I have no doubt that they will be a valuable part of the Incentive FM Group as we continue our growth strategy moving forward.”
