  • Fighting it out November 2001

    November 2001 - Injunction

    Fighting it out in the High Court to finally win our injunction. Jeremy Waud walked out of OCS in search of independence – and found it with the creation of Incentive.    

  • Incentive Begins January 2002

    January 2002 - Incentive FM is Born

    Incentive FM starts trading from Borough High Street in London –  Jeremy started the Incentive FM Group along with Bill Pollard, Paul Dunkley and four other colleagues back in January 2002. Setting out to bring a fresh, dynamic approach to facilities management based on quality and results delivered by a flexible, highly-motivated team of individuals.

  • Eurodis February 2002

    February 2002 - Eurodis

    Providing FM support services to office and HQ environments for Eurodis in Reigate and Bolton for which Incentive FM handles FM for its branches.

  • SEB February 2002

    February 2002 - SEB Bank

    Providing support to SEB Bank client, helping them to save 20% on their Facilities and maintenance costs. First establishing a unique ‘profit share’ proposition, which is based on achieved cost savings, guarantees customers a risk free solution and an ability to maximise savings opportunities.

    February 2002 - Energy supply – Ashford International

    Incentive instructed to manage energy supply deals with Ashford International Hotel.  

  • Gleneagles Hotel June 2002

    June 2002 - Gleneagles Hotel

    Gleneagles Hotel sign an FM contract with us.

    August 2002 - The Nottingham

    Incentive FM have been delivering facilities management services the 50+ site portfolio for The Nottingham Building Society since 2002.

  • The Scotsman Hotel September 2002

    September 2002 - The Scotsman Hotel

    The Scotsman Hotel signs a TFL contract with Incentive. Occupying the former Scotsman Newspaper building, this 1905 landmark is an elegant hotel with specialist maintenance requirements.

  • The Balmoral Hotel October 2002

    October 2002 - The Balmoral Hotel

    The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh sign up as a client. Incentive FM provided full scale facilities management services.

  • Lowry Hotel November 2002

    November 2002 - Lowry Hotel

    Lowry Hotel in Manchester appoint Incentive FM to provide a full range of facilities management services.

  • First Anniversary January 2003

    January 2003 - First Anniversary

    Our first anniversary party at Vinopolis in Borough Market.  

  • Bluewater Consultancy March 2004

    March 2004 - Bluewater – Consultancy Project

    Bluewater appoint Incentive FM Consultancy as their consultants.

  • John Garrard joins us April 2003

    April 2003 - John Garrard

    John Garrard re-joins the team, having worked for us previously at Select FM. His career started in Banking working on the client side of facilities management and made his transition to the contractor side in 1997. John has particular expertise in contractor management and project management where his Auto-Cad experience is particularly valuable to us.

    June 2004 - CBRE

    CBRE take us on to run two shopping centres.  CBRE Group is an American commercial real estate company.

  • Delphi August 2004

    August 2004 - Delphi Europe

    Delphi Europe appoints Incentive FM Consultancy to help them across Europe – a relationship that still continues today. Delphi and Incentive FM have been working together since 2002. Significant projects include providing advice and support for the roll-out out of a major €56m outsourcing contract for Facilities Management across 11 countries in 2008.

  • Pall January 2005

    January 2005 - Pall Europe

    US filtration and engineering specialist Pall Europe contract with Incentive FM in Portsmouth for a site and shop floor engineering support contract. Pall Corporation is a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, serving the diverse needs of customers.

  • Northampton Theatre February 2005

    February 2005 - Deco Theatre

    We were contracted to run a theatre in Northampton for its owners – The Jesus Army – our biggest mistake ever and it cost us!  The Deco started life as a cinema and after a careful restoration is now a purpose-built multi-use venue. It offers two spacious conference rooms, function rooms or training suites.

    September 2005 - Hammerson

    Incentive FM Consultancy has worked with Hammerson, the leading European real estate company, as a strategic partner to deliver creative and leading edge solutions. The Hammerson strategy is to be a retail specialist whose centres are seen to be offering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Martin Reed joins us May 2006

    May 2006 - Martin Reed

    We exit the Deco theatre licking our wounds & Martin Reed joins Incentive Facilities Management Limited as Director.

  • Onwards and upwards March 2007

    March 2007 - We Move

    We move to our 22 Leathermarket Street office near London Bridge.

  • Bruce McDonnell joins us March 2009

    March 2009 - Bruce McDonnell

    Bruce McDonnell joins Incentive FM as Associate Director. He has a proven history in driving up customer experience standards and has spearheaded the drive to provide a ‘world class service’ in our FM business.

  • Incentive Awarded Covent Garden May 2009

    May 2009 - Covent Garden Market

    Incentive is awarded Covent Garden Market as a TFM contract. Vibrant Covent Garden in London’s West End is a must-see destination for anyone who enjoys shopping, theatre, restaurants, bars, history and culture.

  • QAS Acquisition July 2009

    July 2009 - Quality Assured Services

    Quality Assured Services (QAS) joins the Group with Steve Wright, Jamie Wright and Laura Oliver as Incentive QAS. Incentive QAS offer a range of cleaning services to a selection of different markets in the UK.

  • EMAP select Incentive FM February 2010

    February 2010 - EMAP

    Emap selects Incentive as its FM partner. Incentive FM has won a long-term facilities management contract worth in excess of £11 million. The five-year deal makes Incentive FM the sole provider of a full range of FM services at all Emap locations in London, Bournemouth, Brighton and Leeds.

    July 2010 - Lendlease Appoints QAS

    Lendlease appoints Incentive QAS as its contract cleaning partner.

  • The Cheesegrater October 2011

    October 2011 - 122 Leadenhall Building

    122 Leadenhall Street joins our client portfolio with Incentive Lynx Security.

  • Group move November 2011

    November 2011 - 44 Loman Street

    Incentive FM Group moves to its Loman Street new London office, with 24hr Control Room.

  • Lynx Acquisition February 2012

    February 2012 - Lynx Security services Joins

    Lynx Security joins the Incentive Group, and is headed by Craig Pickard and his team. Incentive Lynx Security Ltd holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Security Guarding and Keyholding services.

  • Green Park security contract May 2012

    May 2012 - Incentive Lynx Contract

    Green Park security contract in Reading is awarded to Incentive Lynx to be its partner for manned security guarding services. The three-year contract sees Incentive Lynx providing Green Park with building and estate security, control room management, building receptionist services and mobile patrols.

  • Liverpool FC Consultancy Project February 2013

    February 2013 - Liverpool Football Club

    Liverpool Football Club engages with Incentive FM Consultancy to complete a review of non match day facilities operations at the main locations of its Anfield stadium and training / youth ground. The project is managed by Andrew Parkinson, Operations Director at LFC, who was previously General Manager at Bluewater, where he worked with Incentive FM Consultancy.

  • Monsoon appoints Incentive FM June 2013

    June 2013 - Monsoon

    Incentive FM have been delivering facilities management services to the headquarters of retailer Monsoon since 2013. Under the terms of the contract, Incentive FM will be responsible for self delivering a full range of onsite services including reception, helpdesk, security, office cleaning, day janitors, grounds maintenance, waste management and mail/couriers.  

  • Cushman and Wakefield appoint Incentive QAS September 2013

    September 2013 - Heron Tower

    Cushman and Wakefield appoint Incentive QAS to clean the Heron Tower. Heron Tower is a multi-tenanted office space of some 46 storeys, where Incentive QAS provide communal area cleaning. Our core team on site comprises of a full time Housekeeping Manager, a Site Supervisor and a full time Day Cleaning Team.

  • First Share Options February 2014

    February 2014 - Group shares

    Incentive FM Group issues its first share options to selected Senior Staff.

  • Somerset House March 2014

    March 2014 - Somerset House Win

    Somerset House join Incentive client portfolio. The estate is run by the Somerset House Trust and includes exhibition, event, office and retail facilities. Incentive FM’s 50 strong team provides management, cleaning and maintenance services to support the trust and its tenants as well as providing services to the varied events that take place on site.

    Martin Reed  

    2015 - Promotion

    After 9 successful years as Director of Incentive Facilities Management Limited, Martin Reed is subsequently promoted to Commercial Director of Incentive FM Group in 2015.

  • Comserve Acquisition July 2015

    July 2015 - Comserve Joins Group

    Incentive FM Group Acquisition of Comserve Limited, a mechanical and electrical, maintenance and installation company. With a £3.5 million turnover, Comserve M&E services to a wide range of blue chip clients in 120 sites across the South East. All employees have been retained and will continue to service clients as part of the deal.

  • Largest deal to date August 2015

    August 2015 - Bluewater

    Incentive FM was awarded a three-year contract with Land Securities in August 2015 to provide the full range of FM services at Bluewater, Europe’s leading retail and leisure destination. The agreement, which can be extended for a further three years, represents the group’s biggest and most significant new business win to date.  

  • First major contract in law sector September 2015

    September 2015 - Addleshaw Goddard

    Incentive FM wins contract to provide facilities management services to Addleshaw Goddard, the premium business law firm. This represents the organisation’s first major client win in the legal sector. Under the terms of the agreement, Incentive FM provide a wide range of services incorporating cleaning, waste management, washroom services, window cleaning and pest control.

  • Chris Windass joins us November 2015

    November 2015 - Chris Windass

    Chris Windass appointed as MD for Comserve. Chris has held senior positions within the hard FM sector for over 20 years. His enthusiasm and passion for delivering bespoke maintenance and engineering solutions across the public and private sector is underpinned by his engineering roots and qualifications.

  • SWC Acquisition January 2016

    January 2016 - Specialist Window Cleaning

    Incentive FM Group acquired Specialist Window Cleaning Ltd in a move designed to enable the business to self-deliver additional services to its expanding portfolio of customers. The new services taken on-board include low level, rope access, cradle and high level window cleaning using a combination of traditional and water-fed pole methods.

  • FM Consultancy April 2016

    April 2016 - The Shard

    R.E.M. – the owners of the Shard, appoint Incentive as their FM consultant. REM currently manages a £3bn investment portfolio comprising 2 million sq ft of space in some of London’s most high-profile buildings, and a number of developments with a projected value of £450m.

  • Ace Acquisition June 2016

    June 2016 - Ace Joins Group

    Incentive has acquired ACE Environmental Engineering Limited. Ace are a HVAC design, installation and maintenance specialist with a turnover in excess of £6.5 million. The strategic acquisition will see ACE complementing and working closely with Comserve Ltd, the mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance and installation services company that became part of Incentive FM Group last year.

  • ARL Acquisition July 2016

    July 2016 - ARL Window Cleaning

    ARL window cleaning join the Group. ARL are a specialist company providing window-cleaning services to many of the UK’s most recognisable retailers. The acquisition will further strengthen the Group’s portfolio of world-class cleaning services and solutions. The strategic acquisition will see ARL Support Services complementing and working closely with SWC.

  • Student Accommodation October 2016

    October 2016 - Empiric

    Incentive opens the new and exciting student accommodation support contract as of October 2016, Incentive FM are 12 months in to our exciting contract with Empiric Student Property. We provide the full range of TFM services to 25 facilities, that equates to accommodation for circa 3,000 students!
